This painting is from one of the last warm summer evenings in Laguna Beach - I found this scene after a full day of plein air painting in Heisler park. Just after I packed up my bag with all my gear, I headed back to the car when I saw the full harvest moon glowing against the golden green hills. When I painted this in the studio I tried to express my vision with the same intensity as I would on location.
